Shop Premium Outlets (Simon Malls)

How to add a Shop Premium Outlets store to ShipStation, what features are available, and other need-to-know details.

Shop Premium Outlets (SPO) is a luxury marketplace owned by Simon Malls. SPO supports digitally native brands that sell exclusively on their marketplace via a Channel Advisor Integration. SPO integrates directly with ShipStation to automatically import your orders so you can start shipping quickly. ShipStation will automatically notify your SPO account with each order's shipment details as soon as you create each label.

Shop Premium Outlets (SPO) Requirements

Connection Requirements:

  • An active account with SPO.

  • Your unique subscription keys for your SPO account.

    To connect your SPO account to ShipStation, you must request your unique subscription keys directly from SPO support. If you have not done so yet, contact them at spooperations@sspo.com to request this information.

Order Import Requirements:

  • Must include a Ship To address.

Connect a Shop Premium Outlets (Simon Malls) Store to ShipStation

To connect your Shop Premium Outlets (Simon Malls) store to ShipStation:

  1. Locate your unique subscription keys for Shop Premium Outlets.

    You must request your unique subscription keys directly from SPO support. If you have not done so yet, contact them at spooperations@sspo.com to request this information.

  2. Open a new tab or browser window and log in to your ShipStation account.

  3. Go to Account Settings.

  4. Select Selling Channels from the left-hand sidebar, then choose Store Setup.

  5. Click Connect a Store or Marketplace.

  6. Select the Shop Premium Outlets tile.

  7. Copy and paste your unique subscription keys for Shop Premium Outlets into the pop-up field.

  8. Click the Connect button.

After you've completed the connection steps, your store will be connected to ShipStation. You'll be taken to the store's Settings page to adjust the store-specific settings like branding, notification preferences, and product handling.

This integration allows you to define the Status Mappings for the store connection.

ShipStation will import the customer's email address with the order and can send customer shipment confirmation and delivery emails, which are configured in your Store Settings.

ShipStation will import the customer phone number.

ShipStation will import the shipping method chosen by the customer at time of checkout.

ShipStation will import the payment method used to pay for the order.

ShipStation will import discount and coupon information for the order.

ShipStation is able to determine if an order was placed as a gift.

ShipStation will import internal notes or order activity from the selling channel.

ShipStation will import notes left by the customer at time of checkout. Displayed as Customer notes in ShipStation's Legacy Layout.

ShipStation will import the total order weight from the selling channel.

ShipStation will import the weight for each line item in the order.

ShipStation will import an image URL for each line item in the order.

ShipStation will import item options (such as color or size) for each line item in the order.

ShipStation will import a product stock location for each line item in the order.

The shipment update ShipStation sends to the selling channel will include any Notes to Buyer set on the order in ShipStation.
