Store Activity Log

How to access the store's activity log and what events are recorded.

If you need to see when a store's orders were updated, or to see if your store encountered any import errors, you can review the store's Activity log.

This log contains a detailed history of each store's update activity, and also documents a few changes that may have been made to the store connection itself.

Logged Events

The following events will be logged in a store's Activity log.

Store Refresh

ShipStation will log both the start and end of every store order import, and will include the following information:

  • Whether the store was updated automatically, via an API call, or by a user clicking the Update Store action.

  • If store update was triggered by the Update Store action, the user who triggered the action.

  • Any error messages encountered during the store update.

Store Settings Update: Active

If the Is Active? store setting is changed, ShipStation will log the update with the new value.

Store Settings Update: Delayed Notifications

If the Send marketplace notification when... store setting is changed, ShipStation will log the update with the new settings.

Store Settings Update: Product Identifier

If the Products for this store are uniquely identified by this store setting is changed, ShipStation will log the update with the new value.

Store Settings Update: Return Policy

If the Return policy message store setting is changed, ShipStation will log the update with the new message.
