The Deutsche Post Cross Border integration with ShipStation offers international services for ShipStation accounts based in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
When shipping internationally with Deutsche Post, your shipment customs declarations (CN22 form) will print automatically with the label.
Connection Requirements:
-
An active account with Deutsche Post Cross Border.
-
Account client ID and Client Secret.
-
Customer EKP
-
Vendor ID
Other Requirements
-
Deutsche Post requires you to manifest your shipments. Use ShipStation's End of Day process to manifest your shipments.
-
You can void labels in ShipStation to move a shipment back to Awaiting Shipment and create a new label. However, this does not void the label with the carrier. You will not be invoiced for unused labels, so the carrier does not require you to void labels you will not use.
-
ShipStation's auto-tracking feature works only with services that support tracking - Packet Tracked and Packet Plus. Priority and Standard services do not support tracking.
-
ShipStation prints Label Message 1 in the custRef field for Deutsche Post labels. Label Messages 2 and 3 are not supported for Deutsche Post labels.
-
The Deutsche Post services available in ShipStation are not eligible for carrier insurance.
-
ShipStation's integration with Deutsche Post Cross Border does not support third-party billing.
